During this presentation, viewers will gain a comprehensive understanding of official documentation and coding guidelines needed for proper cancer reporting, focusing on:
  • “History of” documentation.
  • Definitions of active disease/treatment vs. monitoring for recurrence.
  • Solid tumors vs. lymphoma vs. leukemia.
  • Primary vs. secondary (metastatic).
  • Documentation examples for proper ICD-10-CM code assignment.
