As all Special Coverage and Payment Policies related to the COVID-19 public health emergency have expired or will expire effective Sept. 30, 2024, as indicated in Appendix A, UPMC Health Plan will retire Appendix A – COVID-19 Special Coverage and Payment Policy for all lines of business on Sept. 30, 2024. Important announcement – Telehealth submissions
As of October 1, 2025, UPMC Health Plan continues to accept the submission of telehealth claims. Providers may conduct telehealth visits for UPMC Health Plan members in all UPMC Insurance products.
