Aug. 2026Education/Webinars

Please join us for a live, CME-accredited webinar on Wednesday, Sept. 23 from noon to 1 p.m., that will provide an overview on lifestyle medicine. Participants will learn how to integrate six core domains—nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, and social connection—into routine care using practical tools such as brief counseling, motivational interviewing, and team-based strategies.

This session highlights applications for common conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, hypertension, and mental health disorders, with an emphasis on sustainable lifestyle change and improved patient outcomes.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Define lifestyle medicine and explain the role of its six core pillars in the prevention and management of chronic disease.
  • Apply evidence-based lifestyle interventions and patient-centered counseling techniques to support sustainable behavior change in clinical practice.
