Media Alert: Grand Opening Celebration for UPMC Health Plan Connect Center Store in Loyal Plaza Planned for Feb. 16

Trained service and sales associates are available to answer health insurance questions seven days a week with no appointment necessary

WHAT:	The UPMC Health Plan Connect Center store in Williamsport will officially open this Sat. Feb. 16 with a full slate of activities. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the new store in the Loyal Plaza shopping center throughout the day to learn about UPMC Health Plan services, discuss wellness topics, and learn about preventative measures with experts from UPMC Susquehanna. The event will feature: Free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose Activities for children and adults, including face painting and balloon art A variety of free fitness classes, including seated yoga and cross training Complimentary refreshments The event will also feature a food drive benefiting the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. Visitors are encouraged to donate nonperishable food items for local families in need.
WHO:	All community members along with media members in the Williamsport and Susquehanna region are invited to attend.
WHEN:	Sat. Feb. 16, 2019 Noon – 4 p.m. A special ribbon cutting with the Williamsport Chamber of Commerce will take place at noon.
