Pittsburgh (Sept. 7, 2022) – UPMC Health Plan today announced the launch of a “Health Break” member podcast series that explores health and wellness issues and digital and other tools available to all UPMC Health Plan members.
Hosted by Dr. Camille Clarke-Smith, program director, UPMC Health Plan, and Alex Treanor, senior health coach, UPMC Health Plan, the 20-part series features clinical leaders, wellness coaches and other health care experts who will discuss topics including behavioral health, prevention, health insurance basics and how to use UPMC Health Plan’s digital and other tools and services to support both convenient access to care and healthier lifestyles.
“From health coaching services to digital behavioral health apps, UPMC Health Plan has innovated numerous resources to support our members,” said Carrie Whitcher, Chief Quality Officer and Vice President of Quality Performance, UPMC Health Plan. “This podcast provides a convenient and fun way for our members to learn more about UPMC Health Plan’s tools can help them stay healthy and conveniently access care when they need it.”
Currently available episodes include “How to Get Connected to Free Health Coaching,” and “Digital Tools for UPMC Health Plan Members and How to Use Them” and are accessible via Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and other podcast streaming platforms.
